I am well impressed with LMI. Here's the SP:

1. Ordered a bunch of stuff online from LMI on Sunday evening
2. LMI called me first thing Monday morning to confirm one of my wood choices
3. Parcels arrive 10:08am Tuesday!!
4. Wood and guitar hardware is all AWESOME!!

Thanks LMI!! You are the best!! [:Y:]

Cheers,
Dave F.

I have dealt with them for about 15 years and they have always been a class act.

Great products and customer service!

From the many dealings I have had with LMI, never a complaint, and the occasional "way above and beyond' customer service.
Definitely a class act.....

It's a couple of hours each way Steve, so not a journey I'd want to make that often. Besides, they don't like visitors - keeps them from their work! I'd rather the FedEx driver made the journey for me :)

Cheers,
Dave F.

Okay, I do live on the other side of the country but if order from SM and LMI at the same time SM gets my stuff to me at least Three days earlier, sometimes Four or more.

I'm just sayin.

Yeah...it's pretty much the reverse of that on the West coast.

I have the old LMI 3 ring binder in my book case, been dealing with them for years now. In fact I'm hoping a package will arrive today. But living on the East Coast I often have to be patient :) Some times they even through you a bonus. Like I remember buying some AA tops and they'd throw in a AAA.

My record for receiving an order from LMI is 43hrs from placing the order online. That's pretty quick for any delivery, but remember, I live on the other side of the Atlantic in south east England!

Hey Colin, next time you drive over there, stop and get me. ;)
And we'll cruise by Dave's house and snag him as well.
Should be a grand time.

Fed-ex?????? I just ordered from Stewmac friday. USPS got it here Monday. Help save my job. Use USPS. We're also less expensive.

Have to admit - I find teh srvice levels from LMI, StuMac and Uncle Bob exceptional - quick delivery across the atlantic, friendly suppot and advice on the phone, never a complaint yet... and usually complaints are misunderstandings and errors happen, and my guess is that all these guys would deal with it in the old fashioned way... we are are lucky that us amateurs and the pros in this mad enterprise have such great suppliers - same as Dave Dykes and 'grumpy' Bob at Exotic Hardwoods here in the UK are such great guys.
