I've been wanting to explore the forests in southeastern MO for a long time anyway, so if you host the gathering yourself, I'll probably make the trip down
Although I never have seen St. Louis, so maybe I'd go for that too. Plus get to dig through Hibdon's wood pile

Kyle and I are 8 hours away in Lincoln, NE - but we would love an excuse to head down to Hibdon for a few hours and meet some OLF folks.

Daughter lives in Columbia - so I can think of all kinds of excuses to go that way

Wonder if Hibdon would sponser a gathering ? Anyone know who to talk to there as a possibility ?

I wouldnt mind having a few at my place , problem is Im REAL SMALL , half dozen guys and im standing room only ( specially since some of us are on the large side )

Thats why I was curious about St. Louis , centraly located .

I'm definitely in for a local gathering. I went to the chicago area gathering last fall and had a great time. Its really nice to meet people from the forum in person.
Is anyone running with this idea yet? Let me know if I can help

I Talked to Jerry today and showed him the thread on what we are thinking about . He said Hibdon would probably be interested in doing so . He is going to discuss it with his partner and post somthing back here in a few days or so .

If anyone else is interested chime in and let us know !

I spoke with my brother and he is all for hosting the gathering here in St. Louis. We would like for you to select a date that does not conflict with ASIA June 8-12, the Montreat Guitar Show July 1-3, GAL July 20-24 or Healdsburgh Aug 12-14. Sounds easy when I say it fast, doesn't it? Jerry Hibdon

Thanks Jerry , I spoke with Jerry via telephone after he posted . Hibdon is going to have refreshments and a place for us to set up and show our work and trade ideas . They will also be showing us their operation and maybe we can look through their wood ( they really dont wanna sell any )

We have got this thing off the ground guys , lets run with it . How many can we have ? ( 12 ) so far have voiced a desire to get together .

I am going to suggest we go for

SATURDAY MAY 21ST , 5-1/2 WEEKS FROM NOW

Jerry Suggested Times Of 9am to 3pm How does that sound to everyone ?
