I delivered the Cocobolo wedge to its new owner J.B. Davies and shot these videos of him enjoying his new guitar

Very nice indeed! Terrific sounding guitar and, if I remember correctly, a knock-out beaitiful instrument. Congrats again, Fred.

Best regards,
Max

I hope Bobc can find some more wood like that set, I should have bought a few more sets, now that Paulk has seen the finished product he will probably not part with his set. Cocobolo has its issues but with proper handling is a great tone wood. The top is the 1st of the Lutz sets from Shane at High mountain Tonewood and I am very impressed with its sound and how good it is to work with. J.B. had a Hoffee case made for it and it is a great fit and a well made.

What a lovely sounding guitar! Your customer must be thrilled. His playing is very much like the late Michael Hedges.

Nicely done!

Looks Great. Sounds great. Way to go Fred! Yet another beauty. If I'm not mistaken, since you've been hanging out here you've gone from a serious hobby builder to making some pretty great in roads in the custom built market. I'm curious to hear the tale how that came about. We can see that the workmanship is exceptional and judging by those videos so is the playability and sound quality. If you have time, how about sharing your some of your experience getting your guitars into the hands of the guys playing them.

All The Best and Thanks,
Danny

Danny I am active in the Michigan Fingerstyle Guitar Society, through the concerts and workshops I have had opportunity to meet and have my guitars played and evaluated by many of the top players. I try to get my guitars to where people can play them, and let them be played. I build to please myself and I am a pretty picky customer, so the end product tends to please others also.
