I believe OLF member Bruce Herrmann might have some as well. He has some Brazilian listed in the Classifieds section currently, trying to raise money for medical bills. You could PM him through here, or his email is oldmartin@redshift.com. I bought some walnut from him a while back. He's a good guy.

Steve are you talking about "the tree" that was found down in a deep wash, gully in South America? Quilted maghoney? If so, I know a man in Tx that says he has several boards, real large boards, from that tree. The problem is, I ask him if he would sell me some years ago and the answer was I did not have enough money to get one of those boards! pfft

I will try to contact him within the next few days to see if he thinks I have enough now! laughing6-hehe

Thank you all! I got a set from Howard's contact. I'll be making a LS redwood on The Tree SJ.

Would you care to share how much a set of "the tree" runs these days?

I've got Alex's boards. I'm down to one 13 1/2 footer.
