People, I'm sorry for this as it is not a contribution but a request for information. I am in South Africa and there is no source for swamp ash here. Does anyone know of a lumber supplier who would be willing to ship to South Africa?

Hi Ed - There is an exotic wood supplier in Cambridge Ontario, Canada, and they sell swamp ash body blanks and 8/4 swamp ash lumber. They are A&M Wood Specialty. http://www.amwoodinc.com/default.aspx Hopefully they can help you out.
