Hi Jody, I don't post on here often, just immensely interested in what you guys do!

However, I have used the Casextreme for years now, travelled all over the world with it (Africa, Europe, Asia and US) and will be buying another one this year for a new guitar.

If I could change one thing, it would be that it is a little bit large, but for a low cost transport option it can't be beat IMHO.

Definitely check it out!

I have two of them and have flown to Spain (wood over, guitar back) as well as across the country several times carrying my demo guitars to shows in Miami, San Francisco and Austin TX. They are bulky (though not at all heavy) and from my experience any annoyance automatically disappears the moment they go into that little plastic draped door on the baggage conveyor......you'll wish they were even bigger at that point.
Get the DeLuxe version with the detachable wheels.
The best thing about these is once you reach your destination the Clam can be left in the hotel and you simply use your normal case as usual.

High recommendation.

Another positive story. One of my clients has one and has traveled to Ireland twice and done gigs around the States with no problems. Looks like a good deal.
