Gorgeous! I like the pyramid bridge... didn't know that was what you were going to use.

I'll have to come by and hear how she sounds.

That's sweet! I love me some small bodies. I want a nice little parlor. Some of Haans' work has given me some really bad gas pains previously. This does not help any. ;)
I'd love to have one, since I actually might be able to play an acoustic in church services again. Right now, due to some serious physical issues, I'm playing electric. Eventually I'll have to build one, but for now, that gas is really expanding on me, lol.
Nice work!

Nice guitar and a supernice back-wood.

BTW This back doesn´t have any spiderwebbing, the black lines are normally called ink-lines. Spiderwebbing would be interlocking black lines...just something differnet.

Best regards, Alex

That is superb.

One of the nicest looking guitars I have seen in a long while.

How's she sound?

Peter that's really exceptional...not the mention the Madrose..WOW. Curious...how wide is the lower bout and what's the scale length? I built a 13 fretter out of Coco and Lutz. I love that guitar. I left in my truck one night and the Crack-a-Lacq Monster got it.

That is one nice looking guitar Peter! [:Y:] I like the aged nut& saddle. What process did you use to age them?

Smokin'! - Soundclip? Please?

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

One more enthusiastic pat on the back. She's a beauty. Eye catching, without going over the top. Love the understated rosette. All of the woods work so well together... Perfect!

That is really sweet!
The choice of materials is impeccable, as is the fit and finish.
Love the bloodwood binding on the bound fretboard - really blends nicely.

Got to play this guitar today and it is a very sweet sounding instrument.
The Bass response was better than anticipated and really had a nice tonal blend.
For me it is like the "Woman at the Well" waiting to offer a nice refreshing drink [:Y:]

Peter has a pursuit of perfection in his builds and this one is more perfect than my eyes because I couldn't find a thing wrong.... [clap]
