Good morning guys,
I found this on ebay, what is it ??
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 673361896/
Anyone ever use it ?? Its only .006 thick, like a sheet of paper.
Its dirt cheap, maybe theres a reason for that.

I see from the manufacturer's listing that it is 0.15 mm and intended to be glued to a surface rather than inlayed. Do you have a use for that type of application?

It's used in the furniture realms a lot (think oriental pieces covered with abalone inlay). It is laid over the surfaced (not inlaid) and the subsequent laquer finish is applied with enough thickness to bring the final surface into the same plane as the shell.
