Do the Gotoh and Schaller mini tuners have the same distance from the post to the button as the standard size tuners? Can you use a mini tuner in the same hole as a standard tuner or would that hole have to be closer to the edge? Am I making any sense?

Don't know about Gotoh's but I use the same hole for mini's and regular for Schallers. Specs are on Stew-Mac's site but it doesn't give the length from post to button.

The holes for the screws will be in different places, but the post to button distance is the same on Gotohs.
