Hi everyone.

I'm a Norwegian luthier, and I'm new to this forum.

I just got in a 1978 Franklin OM from one of my regular customers. It needs a neck reset, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some information about the Franklin bolt on neck?

Hi,

I own 2 Franklins that I purchased directly from Nick Kukich in the 80's, and I believe I still have a sheet of paper with a graphic of the bolt-on neck. I am currently in Paris for work, but will be home later this week. I will check my files and see if I still have it. If I do, I will let you know and scan it.

Glenn

I got home last night, and this morning I checked my files. Following is the diagram Nick sent me years ago:

If you would like a bigger JPG, send me your email and I can email the larger file. One note, This is for a guitar made in 1985, so there can be differences.

Thanks!

Glenn

Thanks for the picture Glenn!

By the way Nick Kukich answered my mail yesterday, he told me that the neck should be easy to get of, but unfortunately this guitar has probably had a neck reset before, and they have glued the neck on and put glue all over, even out on the sides!

I guess I will get it of anyway with some steam.
