Kathy at the Coopers Glen Festival contacted me and we talked about the meeting this winter in Kalamazoo. We nailed down that it would be best to move the luthiers out in the lower level of the atrium in plain sight of all the festival goers. They liked that idea but wanted to keep the room for us to have a couple of scheduled demonstrations. Mark Swanson and I have volunteered to do the demos so that’s covered.

The show is one day Saturday the 12th of February but we are welcome to set up on Friday I think. I’ll have to check on that. They are looking to expand the luthiers portion of the festival so they’d like to add an overview of the Michigan Guild of Luthiers and a short bio on each Luthier to the program.

I think this is a good move to generate more traffic and it will put us in the same area as Elderly Instruments but I’ll have to see when we get there…..Kathy seems to be on the same page with me. The table fee is the same $35 and two free tickets. So let’s get a head count together, to get the ball rolling and let’s get the bio’s together.
