I love that stuff! I put it in the kitchen sink, spray some water on it, and in a minute or two I can wash it away. So cool! bliss

So you get a sink full of non-Newtonian fluid!

Greg –I did some googling and you’re right; it is indeed made of cornstarch. In addition to being environmentally friendly, it’s also anti-static. The polystyrene stuff is a pain to clean up after opening a package ‘cause static makes it stick to everything in the room. [headinwall]

Bob – yes, exactly! My son was just experimenting with cornstarch and water recently for a school project. Cool stuff!

Fillipo – let me know what you find out on that. Eat Drink As for me, I’m going to save mine to thicken my soups with.

I remember getting a package from LMI once and I turned around to find my girlfriend eating the packing material! I thought she was going to die for a moment.

Anything but peanuts. I hate those things.

Yeah, years ago I was an operations manager, overseeing the shipping department was one of the hats I wore, it was there I learned that those peanuts were made out of corn starch. The corn starch peanuts are not very good for shipping anything moderately heavy as they crush and do not rebound(rats and mice find them tasty too).......I remember the guys saying they were edible but I sure as heck wasn't eating one
