Hi guys,
Im always concerned with dry / cure time when I'm gluing, I dont want to un-clamp too soon.
This time of year my shop is about 65*, 35% humidity and I'm using Titebond.
I just glued a top on.
How long before I can un-clamp and work with this assembly ??
I want to glue the back on next.

Gregg

If you didn't ovrglue you can unclamp after 30 minutes, 24 hours for full strength.
I'd just leave it clamped overnight.

When I do a body I alow about 15 minutes clean off the runs and then do the top. I like to do the back first then the top. I then reclamp the back and the top and allow it to set overnight . After about 10 minutes the glue does tack well enough but I do like to allow the joint to be clamped an hour min.
