We had a good time at Paul's store yesterday. I played and examined quite a few guitars, met some old friends and can now put a face with a name of a fellow Canadian member Edward Taylor. We had an inlay specialist, Cliff from Shark inlay attend and he showed us a couple examples of his work and explained his process. The attendance could have been a little higher but was good sized group of 10 or 12 builders about evenly balanced between electric and acoustics.

Yes, that was really fun getting to know everyone. I look forward to the next one. I'm new to the forum (thanks to Fred). I notice that Brian from Smokebox Instruments is a member here. Brian is a friend and a client. I'll try and see if I can drag him to the next meeting.

Thanks Fred for getting it together and thanks again to Paul for the great venue and being a very courteous host!
Really great meeting some folks from the forum and seeing everyones amazing work, there was a lot of talent in that small group! I had a great time and hope to make it down again in the future.
