One more question. I am debating what I would like for christmas and I am leaning toward a Proxxon MBS 115 wet bandsaw for cutting MOP/Abalone. Choice #2 is an upgrade to my dust collection system. I think those things are more luxuries, especially the Proxxon. However I need a new compressor as the old one died. I have a spray gun designed for auto paint that requires a compressor that can push 6.2+ cfm, which is a large expensive compressor.

I am assuming that it needs that kind of pressure for metallic auto paint, no? In assuming this I assume that I shouldn't need that kind of pressure to spray nitro, yes?

Mainly I need a compressor for my mirco die grinder for inlay, which requires much less. Can I get by with a $100 to $150 compressor moving 4+ cfm and still have the ability to spray nitro? Even though I plan to mainly do FP. If so I will go with one of the other 2 choices and buy a cheap compressor myself.

Is anyone doing any spraying at all with a 3 or 4/cfm compressor? Basically that's what I'd like to know. I can always buy a new gun if it means spending less on a compressor.

I believe the HVLP Sata I use needs 4.5 cfm. I use a Makita 6.5 however. The gun with filter and digital regulator was about twice the price of the compressor though :)
