Would prefer one of these two due to price:
Porter-Cable 7310
DEWALT D26670 ( Only one I can get local)


I can spend a little more for one of these IF they are hands down better than the above:

Bosch PR10E
Ridgid R2401

Note: It will be used for binding in a jig so weight and special holding capability is not an issue.

just found out that I can get the ridgid in town for only 15 bucks more than the dewalt. Im leaning that way at the moment.

I bought the ridgid 2401 based on the input from others here on the forum. I've been really happy with it. The depth control design is great. My budget doesn't allow for a lot of power tool purchases so it's made the rounds from flush trim bits for moulds to a wells-karol circle jig to a binding jig...it's done everything admirably.
