Question for those who engrave inlay: which gravers do you use and which are your favorite?
Which ones are essential and which ones are just nice to have? Sources?

Thanks

I have not engraved inlay, so those with experience in this area may have a different opinion. I have been engraving jewelry and silver for 17 years, and by far the most useful is the square graver. It also happens to be one of the easiest to use. For very light shading, try a knife edge or onglette. GRS in Kansas is where I buy my gravers.

Rarely do, but I like the square as well mostly .. you can get all your supplies from Lacy's in downtown Toronto Ed .... they are a jewelery supply place ...

Agh... I was just down there.

Casey, thanks for the reply, welcome to the OLF.

I am thinking of getting this GRS kit from Rio Grande jewelery supply. 12 gravers for $78, not bad I think.
