That is a magical number for, what I am sure is, a magical instrument. Just lovely. How does she sound?

Very nice indeed!

Do you have a special build planned for # 100?

Thanks!
Alan, I have a few things in mind but the guitar will be pretty much what the next person in line chooses.
What I thought I would do is to offer an unusual rosette design as well as a very high quality top at no up-charge to make the #100 guitar a bit special.
I number my guitars in the sequence that they are concepted and go into my book. Thus I have a couple still in the works to finish before # 100.

Nice, David. I like the non-continuous meander in the rosette.

Looks great!

But what I really want to know is, now that you are at the penultimate build prior to the century mark, what wisdom have you gained in your journey that marks your progress?

And it really makes me wonder what my 99th will be like!

Congratulation David, I have an enormous respect for your work and knowledge. You make instruments with truly superb craftsmanship and aesthetic values, an inspiration to us lesser mortals.

Thanks all.
The scale is 650mm with a plantlla that is an amalgam of Hauser, Romanillos, my own and Torres.
European spruce top, mahogany neck, E.I. rosewood back and sides. Seven fans with treble and single cut-off bars.
Doug, I've learned that no matter how many of these one makes the learning curve never flattens out.....there is always something unexpected that comes up

Congratulations on number 99. I have to say, your rosette design is bar-none the nicest, simple but elegant, I've seen in a long time.
