Please allow me to point to a link, here in the OLF "Off Topic Discussions"

http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10112&t=27721

I suspect some luthiers read the 'Guitar Building Forum' and ignore the other forums, but this really is about a potential gift from luthiers, musicians, and music lovers.

Please take a minute to click the link and find out the details.

Thanks!

Dennis

Only one day to go. Please help, a little or a lot, but don't just ignore this, please. Your gift keeps giving for at least 20 years.

Thanks,

Dennis

Well, we as a group of luthiers, musicians, and music lovers did not make the goal and so will not get the honor of having a plaque next to a drinking water well that inspires the musicians, luthiers, and music lovers in that village and lets them know we love and support them, but...

...every penny raised will be added to other campaigns that also did not make their goal, and when $5000 is accumulated this way, a well will be dug. All who donated and gave the CharityWater site their contact info will receive GPS coordinates and photos of the well project when it is dug, which they say will be within one year of the funding.

Thanks again to all who were able to donate, and for those that wanted to but were either "a day late" or "a dollar short", well, when you have a few dollars, do remember this charity that keeps on giving clean drinking water for 20 years.

:D
