Anybody else here seen this dvd?

Recently bought a copy and have mixed feelings about it. Many principles/techniques are covered in depth but other key points seem to be missing. My main issue with this dvd is there are sections on shaping braces, but he glues them on a flat surface with no corresponding arching to his workboard/solera. ????

Boss himself seems to be a competent builder and is easy to understand, but I can't find any info regarding instruments he has built. Not doubting his abilities in any way, just curious if anyone else can share more info about him.
