Here is a very nice set of HIGH FLAME Claro Walnut. This set is HUGE. The back is over 20" across and the sides are extra long. You can't easily tell from the pictures but this set has strong rich flame with great colors, a bit of sap wood, and a hint of spalting.

This will build a beautiful guitar.

Retail price is $225, but we will end the auction early and throw in free domestic shipping for a bid of $175.

The auction ends tomorrow (Thursday) at 3PM EST.

Good Luck.

Actually, I believe that kevinc is the winner since Matt didn't post until 3:59 PM EST and the auction closed at 3 PM EST. Or am I reading something wrong....always possible.

The time on the top right post of my 80.00 post says 2:59 pm. His earlier post says 1:59. Is there something I am not seeing (not meant to sound angry).

My first bid was at 2:58 pm on my home clock. When I bid my post read 1:58 pm and kevinc post read 1:59 pm. I went and looked up EST and found out that in NJ in the summer I am not EST I am EDT (which I never heard of before). If I go to
http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbr ... a/est.html
it says my current time in NJ is 10:17 am and EST is 9:17am. The EST on my post matches the time on my posts. My only thought is Kevinc also posted, like I did think 2:59pm EDT was 2:59 EST. Not trying to start anything just thought I won. [uncle]

Matt,

Your OLF time zone preferences might actually be set for Central time. The only difference between EDT and EST is the time of year. EDT just reflects that it is Daylight Savings Time. When I set my Board preferences Time Zone to "Eastern" your last bid shows up at 3:59 PM. Hope this helps to clear things up a bit [:Y:]

I'm not trying to start anything either, but we're both in the same time zone.
I bid 75.00 one minute after your 60.00 bid. You said in your post that the clock on your wall read 2:58 when you made your bid so I can only guess that you, like me, felt the auction was about to end. I was the last bidder before both our clocks read 3:00. I figured I won. That's why I was surprised to see that you put in one more bid one hour later when your clock at home would have read 3:59.
I'll abide by whatever Brock decides on this, but I hope we can get some clarification about what clock to go by for future auctions.

I dont know how to change my time zone pref. When I bid I saw 1:59 pm so I looked up EST on the above website and it said EST was currently (at that time) 1:59 pm. So I waited an hour and bid again.

Brock dont drive yourself crazy it is not a big deal. Before this I never even heard of EDT. It is confusing to me because the website shows EST as an hour earlier than my home (nj) clocks, which is reflected in the top pick I posted. Certain places stay EST year round and others, like nj, switch to EDT and then back to EST.

I dont know where you live Kevin but go to the website I posted and you'll see that we are not currently running on EST we are running on EDT (which I did not know before yesterday). Anyway it is not a problem, you can have the wood, I should be saving my money anyway. Clarification for future by the forum would be great. Sorry for the drama.

Ok, the time stamp you see is on Central time (not sure why). I guage things on my time zone. So by that calculation Kevin won.

Sorry for the confusion. I will look into what we have to do to get the timezone on the server set to Eastern.

Thanks,
Brock.
