Hi Guys,
A few months ago My Uncle and I were at Martin, My Uncle Brought his 1965 D-28 in
for a buzz. (no truss rod)
The tech installed a taller Compensated Bone Saddle and then decided he could go with a shallower one.
Once he got home he noticed it still had a slight buzz, now he wishes the tech left the taller saddle in.
I made the assumption Compensated Bone Saddles could be purchased in different heights, however I have searched far and wide to no avail.
Can Compensated Bone Saddles be purchased for a Martin in differing heights ??
Where ??
Thanks Guys
Gregg

If you buy from some other supplier it should come tall, then you just sand it down. You might be better off buying a bone blank and compensating/adjusting the height on it yourself. Several people here can help you along with that. What condition is the guitar in? Any warping in the neck or raising on the bridge?

try Maury's music or one of the site sponsors.

Gregg: If you don't get an answer here, try the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum. I think folks there may be able to help.
