Up this time is a set of "black" Brazilian Rosewood. This set is so dark that under finish it will appear nearly black. The set is just barely big enough for a tight OM (and may require about 1/8" of a wing in the lower bout). The center seam nearly closes perfect so it will just take a very light touch up to be ready to glue it.

One thing worth noting on this is the back is a shade under .09" thick and the sides are about the same. They are sanded and ready to go. Joining the back will take a bit of care to make sure you align it perfectly (or I would be happy to do it for you if you would like).

Retail value on a set like this is about $900, You can end the auction early for $550 and get free domestic shipping.

We are going to run this without a reserve.

The auction ends tomorrow (THRUSDAY) at 3PM EST

Good Luck.

Now that's what I'd call a great set of BRW!

It is pretty much quarter sawn. There is a bit of a knot shadow in the sides, but it is dark and stable and won't be any trouble.

Not to sound elusive (I am out of town tonight and not near the set) but the sides are plenty wide enough to build whatever you like with it.

:-)

No sorry! I'm sorry for driving the price up. I just couldn't let it go for $350. Still a bargain. I have a few sets, but this on looked really good.
