Related, I used to keep a dampit in my Kohno. Some of the moisture touched the label. The signuture was in water soluble ink, and is now very blurred. Now I keep the humidifier in the case, but not in the guitar.

I once got a mandolin for repair with a guitar Dampit stuffed in the ff hole. Man, that poor thing was so wet inside, I'm surprised it wasn't moldy. Reminded me of the gluttonous guy that explodes in the restaurant from Monty Python. wow7-eyes

i'm sorry. i find this very hard to believe. does your customer have ears? does he move the git around enough to hear them in there?
does he live in las vegas, where it is very dry? does he bathe with his git?

Could water dribbling over the braces over and over for years cause stuff to get loose in there?
