The newest Luthier Tips du Jour instructional video is on Youtube. The topic is the LMI temperature controller. Subtitles are available in both English and Portuguese and you can translate them into any other language by using the CC option on Youtube.
As always, comments and discussion are welcome.
Enjoy!

This looks a lot like the unit described in a Guitarmaker article a couple of years ago. Any connection?

(I have all the parts for it sitting in a box - never have gotten around to assembly gaah )

Great product.

I made a similar device from a controller I obtained from an Ebay seller and it makes bending much safer and easier. For the time and cost of obtaining parts and making an enclosure the LMI unit is a great deal. I enjoyed building my controller and being a retired Industrial controls Electrician so it was easy for me, but if this unit was available when I built mine I would probably have purchased from LMI instead.

As usual great job Robbie.

Thanks for the Video Robbie.
I think I might get one of these controllers sooner than later.
LMI should be paying you for the referral.
Can I buy it through your web site?

Very cool. Adding that to my wish list is way easier than making it myself. Thanks for doing those videos, Robbie. You keep getting better too.

Thank you everyone. I am glad everyone liked this information.
Elman, I do not get a percentage of LMI sales and you must go to their website to purchase this item as well as others that you might see in my videos.
Work safe and Happy Building! [:Y:]
