I made this guitar about two years ago as my personal guitar. Sadly it didn't work out very well even for that propose! I came up with an idea of shifting the soundhole to the side ,and it's no suprise at all that someone has done it before. I lend it to a player named Jimmy Liu yesterday and recorded a clip:
Fernando Sor Op.35 No.22

Whoops! I didn't explain it clearly. This guitar was a normal one before. The new Carpathian sp top has mostly Torres' bracing dimensions but no thickness gradient, about 2.4~2.5mm. It turns out nicer than its last incarnation. I wanted to know how's it feel like to have the soundhole pointed to my head (mostly right ear), but still I wanted it to be as traditional as possible. The volume and projection in the front is good, and you can hear more details of the sound it makes, perhaps too much!
