I'm having a few places on the side of the fingerboards that want to let go of the waterbased lacquer when I am removing the tape on the fingerboard. I've tried drop filling with topcoat, but it seems that it is painfully slow in that multiple coats still don't bring it level enough to avoid more sand-throughs. Has anyone ever tried the thicker superglues to repair these area? Is this doable? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,

Bill

Your finish must be thick !
Try the waterbase pore filler.

I've used med. & thick ca.
Works great !

Filippo and Mike,
Thanks a bunch for the help. I think I will try both methods and see how each one works in my hands. I love this forum.

Bill
