Hi

Building my first tenor, its going quite well and box is nearly done, but I have never playerd one before, so this may sound daft but what string guages are normally used? Scale length is fairly short as have gone at 590mm and will probably start with a CGDA or GDAF tuning, but I would like to get an idea of the guages most folk use before I shave too much from the bracing!

You can find this info. at various string manufacturers websites and at tenorguitar.com. Generally a light set will be similar to 32w-22w-14-10.
