I picked up a few items the first day of the swap meet. Other than a couple of PM's a few weeks back I have heard nothing.

What's the "deal"? No pun intended :D

I haven't. He probably just got busy or something. I believe it was the late Eric Mathre's tools so I am sure Dave will get around to it.

Richard,
I was wondering the same thing. I also sent two or three PMs and haven't heard back yet.

I am patiently waiting as I am sure he will get around to it eventually and all involved will be happy with the great deals they are getting.

Dave- if anyone backs out due to the delay, let me know. There were lots of great deals that I would have loved to get but just missed out on by being too slow.

I wouldn't worry guys. Wrapping up a lot of packages is a LOT of work. I am just getting to shipping packages to the people that bought stuff from me from the swap meet and I have been doing this for a long time and have packaging solutions on hand. Dave likely has to figure out how he is going to wrap each item, get that packaging stuff and then start packaging. It will happen when he can get to it. Remember, he is doing all of this as a favour to the Eric Mathre's wife so let's work with him.

Thanks

Shane

Shane's right. We need to remember that the stuff is not in his backyard or workshop. He has to travel to the location and deal with it. I bought a few things, and he indicated it might take a while to get it all sorted out.

Still waiting somewhat patiently myself. Hopefully Dave will chime in with his latest time estimate.

I'll speak for myself....and make it clear.

I ABSOLUTELY don't mind waiting, but, I like being told I need to wait. Yes it comes naturally with age...we wait for things...no big deal. I just prefer the communication that's all.

Dave I know you'll get to it just give us a small update my friend.

Chris

Hi Guys! I'm here - just got back from work.... :D

Thanks for being patient. Yep, the stuff was all 20 miles away at the late Eric Mathre's place and I've been through a really busy patch at work lately. Good news for y'all though.....a) I didn't have to go to Taiwan/China with work, and b) all the stuff is now all packed up and ready to ship (it's all in my truck at home now, so should be much easier to deal with).

The easy packages are going to be the stuff that fitted into the flat rate boxes from USPS. Other stuff in "custom packaging" still has to be weighed and measured before I know what the shipping is going to be (the rate tables are online, yay!). The stuff for Canada, Australia, and Sweden.....well, I'll have to take it to the PO in person I suspect....so there's likely to be a bit more delay on those parcels, sorry.

I'll send the easy ones PM's tonight (after I get done typing this and had a cuppa), and I'll try to get the weighing/measuring done tonight also.....

Any questions, ask! If you've spent all your money while waiting and/or don't want/need the stuff anymore, let me know - like windsurfer says, others will probably want it!

Cheers all,
Dave F.

Probably a typo. Try the "dot net" suffix. Also, I recommend not posting someone else's email on the forum, without permission, especially in linkable format.

Hi Wudwerker - that email ID is perfectly correct, you must've done something wrong or there was a system glitch.
I logged into PayPal just now and everything is fine. Try it again!

Cheers,
Dave F.

OK WudWerker, got it. Don't worry about posting the ID, I already get over a thousand spams every day. My hosting service has pretty good filtering, and what they miss, my email program filters most all of. If we can get Lance/Brock to edit it out of your post, that might be a good idea though....

Cheers,
Dave F.
