"For anyone who missed today's developments, here's a quick summary.

The forum went down on the 17th of April when there were problems with an SQL server and even M. Delcamp was unable to gain access. The web hosting company were unable to fix it within the promised timescale.

Eventually the forum was restored yesterday on different servers from a backup made on the 8th of April, but this resulted in the loss of all posts made between the 8th and the 17th, as well as the loss of the search index. Rebuilding the search index from scratch would have put a great strain on the servers and would probably have resulted in another crash, so we were left without the ability to search on posts from before the outage.

About half an hour ago, M. Delcamp managed to perform another restore from a later backup, made on the 17th, which means that all posts from before the outage have now been restored, as well as the search index, giving us a fully functioning search facility again.

Unfortunately those posts made in the last day or so, since the forum was first restored after the outage, will not appear, as they were not, of course, in the backup. However, if there are any particularly significant posts that you wish to see restored, M. Delcamp may be able to retrieve them from a separate database on request.

Our apologies again for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

Off-topic- You were smart to post a duplicate of your FE17 (MIMF) build at delcamp. It's pretty irritating that all those MIMF Challenge threads are unavailable - what a waste of posters' time/energy.
