I just finished the painting of a National that was pretty beat and broken with my take on a polychrome finish with a back stencil. Turned out to be an interesting project and I learned a lot from it.

Nice work Chris - what type of material did you use for your template?

I forgot to subscribe to the discussion.
Thanks all.
The stencil material is an oiled stencil board.

I cut the stencils out with a #11 exacto.
There is a discussion here in the reso section on the guitar.
