Hey all,

I've been slow to get these done, but, better late than never. This is the first guitar I built. It's a 000, 24.9 scale, dovetail neck, mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top, scalloped braces in standard X configuration. The finish is KTM 9. This guitar was based on a kit from Martin,

My wife, Barbara was nice enough to play for the microphone.

This was the second guitar I built. I used some kit parts from Martin and made some parts. This one is another 000, 25.5 scale, dovetail neck, east Indian rosewood back and sides, redwood top, unscalloped bracing in standard X format. This one is my shop mule. Maybe I'll put a quickie finish on it someday,

My wife was the guitar picker for this clip.

Thanks for listening.

Chris.

Wow, nice guitars, and kudos to your wife, who plays very well. Excellent work on both. [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

These are really nice guitars! The tone is beautiful on the clips. Is that a redwood top on the one. It's such a pretty top. Bravo!! [clap] [clap]

Thanks, glad you like them. The recordings really came out well. Yep, it's a redwood top with unscalloped X bracing. I think it really projects, nearly as loud a a dred, but better balanced, in my opinion.

I'm very anxious to get number three back from finish and string it up.

I don't know what I feel more envious about, the guitars or your car.
