Most folks are worrying about humidifying a guitar. I have the opposite problem. Any desiccant type packs the anyone has used in the case to dry things out a bit ?

A sock full of rice......
replace every time you think about it
and use it to feed the dog or dry it in the the oven
I have no proof but it works in the salt cellar,
its cheap and makes me feel better!

Link,
I have a whole bag of them that came with my Ameritage case. You can have them for free if you want. Just pm me your address and I'll send them to you. I have no need for them here in Colorado. Also, you can purchase them from Ameritage as an accessory.

Just don't eat the Amertiage stuff but the rice from an old dirty sock might go well with the popcorn that you make.... :o :D

Coupla ideas to deal with moisture (livin' on the northwest coast)

-Soda crackers/Saltines can absorb some moisture (cheap and can be eaten)

-Salt is a natural dessicant, but I would not put it in a guitar case with metal frets, electronics, tuners.

-A good 'dry out' session near the wood stove (or portable hair dryer) can reduce moisture.

-And as stated earlier, rice....
