Here is a very nice set of 5A Quilted Sapele. I recently cut this set from one of our billets and it is every bit as nice as all we have sold here in the past. However there is some very light checking in one of the sides. It can easily be repaired with a few minutes work and possibly hidden under the heel if you lay out your sides carefully. It is no problem, but worth mentioning.

Retail value is $250 for a perfectly clean set. You can end the auction early for this one with a bid of $160 which includes free domestic shipping.

The auction ends tomorrow (TUESDAY) at 3PM EST.

Good Luck.

$160. I assume it's Dread size, yes?
Will I get it before Christmas?

I'm sick of this. You have no excuse.
The last time I got wood from you, Brock, it gook 6 weeks and 4 emails to get it. You have had my $$$ since August 30. It takes at most 4 days from Ohio to Minnesota. It's been 16. Either send the saplele or send my $$$ back. I will NEVER bid on your wood again.

Whow! You are an impatience man Haans..

I still wait on my 3 Pack of AAA+ Western Red Cedar Tops (for $99). Paid in januari 2010. That's right. Januari.

After a few e-mails (and the same lies) I don't bother anymore.

Best regards,

Edzard

Edzard

That's interesting Edzard, same here: same Jan auction. But I am not pissed currently, since there seems to be some hope left for a replacement.

No, I'm not impatient. If I buy something, I expect it to show up within a reasonable time. Stew-Mac is 3 days from Ohio. RC tonewood is 4 days. Last time took 6 weeks, and a bunch of PM's to Brock and Lance. Each time I emailed I allowed a week before asking again, for a total of 3 times. I'm done with this one way or the other. If you want to wait 6 months for your wood, fine.

I think this is a widespread issue. I've had similar problems, and I know of others who have too.

It's easy to take the money and forget about having to deliver, but it's becoming a bad pattern for Brock. I think he has good intentions, but poor follow through.

Haans, if you read Edzard's post again, I think you'll find that he is agreeing with you, in an ironic sort of way. He has also waited a very long time, and has had the same run around as you. He certainly doesn't think you are impatient, just his way of pointing out that he has been waiting for 8 months or so for his wood!

By the way my record for ordering and receiving from LMI is 43hours, and I live over in the UK.

Colin

Thanks Colin!

Haans it was meant in a (very) ironic way. Seeing what kind of little wonders you produce; you can't be an impatience man.

I don't want to compare a single man operation with the StewMac of LMII. I do understand very well that some things take time when you working allone.

But what I do despise is the deliberately lying. Over and over again.

Best regards,

Edzard

Sorry, Ed, I am steamed by now as I am sure you all are. BTW, please stop sending me PM's about the situation, I am really not the spokesperson for this problem.
I just got to this point. gaah
Post your complaints.
I don't have a problem with folks that reform either. I just want my wood. Or $$$.
I should say that in my one transaction with Lance, I think he was as prompt as possible and did help me get my wood the first time.

This seems to be the biggest issue.

Yep, that's my point.
