to LMI. Great online store. Excellent service and products. I placed an order and they filled everything the first time - no hassles.

I've purchased almost every tool I own over the years online, since I live out in Podunkessville USA. I have had excellent (Lee Valley and many others) to really poor (un-named) service and/or products. LMI is on par with the best.

Thanks, LMI. You've earned my business for the long haul.

Arnie

Have to agree, LMI is top notch. So are all other sponsors I have used for that matter. [:Y:]

I've only ordered from LMI one time, but they did impress me. Specifically, among other things, I ordered a headplate. The one I ordered was out of stock. The very next day after placing my order, I got a phone call informing me of the problem and giving me the opportunity to choose what option I would like to take to handle it. No big deal, right?
To me it was. My order was fairly small. Most companies would either "reserve the right to substitute a similar product of equal value"( hate when that happens), or backorder the item and send the rest of my order, which is frustrating to no end. Having every piece but that one you really need to finish the job is not a happy place to be. The courtesy of a phone call might not mean a lot to some folk, but it surely does to me.

Always reassuring to hear praise of LMI. I have placed my order today and hopefully will get it here in the UK in about 5 days. From what I've heard, I have nothing to worry about.

LMI is the best! I ordered one of their chisels, which they claim to be very good quality. I also bought some other finely made German chisels from another site. I always reach for the LMI chisel. Just another shout out that their products really are as good as they say they are.
