hi all
this is a request for a young friend who’s a bit shy to ask.
can someone point to, or post pictures of your OLF MJ's please as he hasn't seen one, I recall pics a few months back but cant find them.
He has the plans and cant decide which to make next MJ or OM.
regards
Geordie

Well ther is a world of differance in the MJ and the OM. The Mj is a 16 1/4" Lb and 21" body and a modern Art Decoish shape the OM is a 15" LB with a 19 3/8" body. I will post photos tomarrow

hi Michael
yeah I know OM v MJ, sorry I probably didn't describe his predicament properly.
He just cant decide about the MJ because he hasn't seen one, he has already built an OM, his first guitar.
and likes the size of that, he's not a big guy, and just wondered how much bigger the MJ would be, and suggested pictures would help.
best regards
Geordie

This is the first page of my new website, website building is tough and slow going for an amatuer. I built a MJ in brazilian and Shanes lutz, the three larger pictures in the middle of the page are that guitar. Michaels MJ plans are very nice, very complete.

The MJ is my favorite shape, my personal guitar is a MJ in ziricote and adi. Below are some crummy lo-res pictures of it. I like the MJ so much I've built 3 of them now.

hi Michael H
and many thanks for that, I'll pass on the link.
Yeah I'm a jumbo style (guitar) guy myself, my main guitar is an ol' Lowden "O"
big an' dynamic.

Hi George, and thanks once again uv'e helped me out with a problem that was guitar related. looking at the pics of this guitar im really happy with its proportions, almost OM like, i plan to start the build in the next week or so and hopefully will post some pics of the finished instrument and or during the building process.

Cheers, Paul
