I've been enjoying some of the recent pictures of bound soundholes. I can think of maybe three ways to do it but am not sure what is the easiest way. I was hoping one of you people could do a quickie 5 sentence tutorioral on how you do it. What is the method with the highest success rate?

Thanks, Mike

I don't know if this was one of your options, but it is easy and doesn't require bending. I can't recall where I got this, but you simply route out a ring (from the same blank as the rosette in my case) the same diameter as the soundhole and glue it up. It is a different look than the bent binding but still gives a nice contrast.

Yes, that is what I do too, just route the ring from the rosette stock. The only thing to watch out for doing this is the short grain. Before you get it glued in, it is really easy to snap it.
