I will soon be working on the neck of my first build. The neck is from Hannali-Moon (sp?) and the fretboard is pre-slotted and pre-radiused from LMI. This will be my first fret job as well.

I would like to buy a video detailing fretting, neck assembly, glueing the fretboard, shaping the neck to the fretboard, etc. Not really needing a video on how to carve my own neck (at this point). Whose video's would you recommend? Best I understand, the O'Brien videos are still photos with voice instructions, true? John Mayes has some videos......would they cover the topics above? (I have John's voicing DVD). Any other suggestions?

John Mayes has a fretting video, as well as a neck shaping video. I'd recommend getting his entire set. I think you'd find them all useful, and John's a heckuva nice guy.

I dont have a video recommendation, but I do suggest you get a fret pressing caul if you do not have one already. They can be used in your drill press and just make fretting a heckuva lot easier.

It sounds like it covers everything, though this is one of John's videos I have yet to watch.

There are several others to choose from as well.
