So it's that time of year again, I'm back as a sponsor and I have another sale for you. Please read the entire post, just so there is no confustion.

This time around I'll be offering 4A WRC tops and 4A Curly Maple B&S sets. I pick these sets from the batches as the year goes on so there is some variation but they are all great quality.. Many of the Cedar sets fall into a "Master Grade" category but it just saves headaches to set the bar low and exceed your expectations. The maple sets are all great and have been graded and matched by myself. They aren't my "Master Grade" but definately come close.

WRC Tops 42.50 (Retail 65-70)
Curly Maple B&S 82.50 (Retail 120)

IF you purchase any combination of 5 sets I will pay the shipping (Canada Post/USPS Ground) within Canada and/or the US (Excluding Alaska and Hawaii) If you are international and order 5 sets I'll give you a similar discount on shipping.

To order you can email me at jason@cvtonewood.com with your order and paypay account address. I'll respond with an availability confirmation and PayPal Invoice. Once you've paid your order will ship.

This offer will run as long as stock permits or until the end of Jan. I want to give you guys some time with it being soo close to Christmas and all, but I wouldn't wait too long as I've sold out early the last couple years.

ATTENTION: If you've never ordered wood from me before
We are not a lutherie supply shop/tonewood dealer. We're a mill direct tonewood wholesaler. We primarily supply guitar factories. As a result my sets don't arrive as polished as they may from another shop. They are unsanded and definately a little thicker. It takes a little extra work but my prices and quality definately compensate (at least I think so ;) )

I know, I know. My pictures could be better  I've set the expectation accurately and you guys know what it looks like.

What I thought might be fun.. With some help from you guys.. Post some pics of projects you've completed with my cedar and/or maple.

If you used a spruce top don't bother! laughing6-hehe Just kidding. Put them up! Seeing your work is the most interesting/rewarding part of my job. Don't be shy! Put em up (Or I will, I've got lots)

Oh also I almost forgot.. Keep an eye out for another auction for John. I didn't want to auction Maple/Cedar after slashing prices so I'm gonna go digging through my personal stash and see what I come up with.. I'm thinking maybe some quilt or birdseye/burl for you electric guys.. Or maybe some archtop wood. Anyone ever seen a 1 piece cedar archtop top?

How does the grading of this batch compare to that you had a sale on about a year ago? It was described as "premium grade"

viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=19419&hilit=maple

I bought a couple tops and a BS set an they were very nice, yet not used yet. Now you have me thinking of adding to the pile.

Bought the B&S + WRC top from Jason last year for this OLF SJ. The wood is terrific, and Jason is a great guy to deal with. You can sign me up for another full set, Jason!

William, yes this is Big Leaf Maple.

Zach, although the discount is larger the grading is on par with last year. I think some of the maple was a little more intensely figured last year but all of this stuff is nice consistent curl with very well matched sides. I'm able to offer a better deal on maple this year (for several reasons) and I think it all looks great.

Nice pics Ken =) I like it.

All the orders I recieved in the last couple days will be invoiced on the 27th. I'm going to be more or less unavailable Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day. I'll also get the Mayes auction up at the same time. I've just had a bunch of last minute stuff come up and it's been a little too much.

Thanks guys.

Those are awsome. I just want two of the B&S sets (no tops). Thanks, as soon as you confirm, I will PP you.

I will definately ship to the UK, or anywhere else for that matter. Shipping is of course a little more but can be quite reasonable.

And these sets are big. Min 8 3/4 x 22 on the backs/tops and 5 1/4 x 34 on the sides. Most are wider 9 1/4+ and 5 1/2+.

Just email me to place your order: jason (at) cvtonewood (dot) com

My next shipping day will be Monday and anything ordered, invoiced and paid for by Sunday night will go out.

Thanks.

Ok guys. Everything that has been paid for has already been or is being shipped tommorow. Anything that comes in before the end of the month will still be eligible for this offer.. Just email me and I'll get back to you when I have a chance.

I am heading back to Alberta for a while.. Got an offer on a drill rig outside of Calgary and between the money, great travel/work arrangement, and general timing (this economy hasn't done anything positive for the tonewood/guitar business) I can't turn down the opportunity.

I will still be taking and filling retail orders but my processing & shipping time is going to pretty slow.

I'm on a 15 in 6 out shift so I won't have access to the shop 2 out of 3 weeks and depending on the camp situation I may not be able to get online at all.. Some rigs have satellite, I'll have my laptop either way.. So if you're trying to get ahold of me I'm still around and we're still in business I'm just drilling a hole in a mountainside somewhere really cold and isolated ;)

Thanks for the business guys and if things pick up a bit I should be able to make another offer like this in 6 months or so.

Yup, The Voth's tonewood is awesome stuff. Just a couple more days to get in on the sale.

Here are some pics. B/S & Top (& rosette) are all from CV Tonewood.

Almost time for me to make another visit to the Voth family ranch! Might need some more cedar soon! :D

I'm glad you guys are happy with your orders =)
Right now I'm 9 days into my shift and working 12hr graveyards somewhere between Fort Nelson and Fort St. John, BC.
I'll be home in 6 days and will get the last of the orders shipped while I'm there.
