I have a new addition in my garage/workshop bliss Just finished installing a tube radiant heater. I don't kick up a lot of dust as I have a dust collector and I also use waterborne lacquers, so this one should work well. It runs on natural gas and is vented through the roof, so I am not going to have the condensation issues I had with the portable propane heater.

I can now focus on the portable spray booth and get that mad rose OM sprayed for my customer so I can pay for this thing!!

ken, im jealous! all of my large machines are in the garage. hot in the summer and cold in the winter. we do have a nice spring and fall though. i try and do as much hand work as i can inside where the temp and relative humidity are cozy and constant. sure would be nice to be in a nice big shop with a heater over the upcoming winter! congrats and get that OM finished up and sent off!

Nice job! I'd like to have a workspace like that someday. Until then, I have to use portable heaters when I'm out in the garage and bring my work in the house when I'm done.

I've put up with these cold Michigan winters for four years. Looking forward to not seeing my breath going forward!!

Congrats on the new heater! I run one of those in my shop and its great. No exposed flame, no moving air, not dust in your finish, no escaping bad gasses into your breathing air...

I find that mine works better if I just set it and leave it, rather than put the thermostat up and down over the course of the day. 17 C seems to be good for me, the way these things work allows a lower thermostat setting than you'd think you'd like.
