Updates and other fun stuff...
A few thoughts and questions...

1. Ok, so as of today we still do not have the bracing templates, they are coming soon we have been assured.
I have spoke to most of you via PM about this but I just want to reassure you all that I will get them in the
mail as fast as they are in my grimy hands!

2. Fretboard templates. They went over really well and since shipping them we have been asked MANY times if we
were going to do another run. The short and long answer is, YES! We are going to do another run of the Traditional and Modern templates.
PLUS we'd like to add another. One of the suggestions was a classical scale, the other was a 25" scale.
PLEASE LET US KNOW if you have any other suggestions for common scales that we could make for you
and we will consider them before deciding on the new template.

3. We have had literally dozens of folks asking for the Woolson neck jig plans, so with a show of hands (via a quick email to me)
lance@kragenbrinkguitars.com let me know if you want a set. They will be the same price as our guitar plans we sell through stewmac 27.95 + usps first class mail. If we get enough interest we will order a batch.

4. Last point. We are in the final development stages of TWO NEW OLF Guitar plans! We are working on all the final
edits right now. They should be available through stewmac as soon as we have final approval from them.
One is for a 28.9 scale Baritone! The other is top secret!
We are SUPER excited about these plans! And of course the bracing templates will be available shortly after the plans hit the shelves!

Please let me know if your interested in any of the items listed above. Post your interested in this thread!

Ok thats it for now! Again, as soon as I have the bracing templates I will start shipping them,

Very cool - I'm looking forward to the new plans + bracing templates. Will it be possible to order a plan+bracing template bundle through the OLF, or can the plan only purchased at StewMac, and the racing template here?

thanks, Christian

Everyone knows what the secret plans are.

17” scale tenor ukulele with modified kasha bracing and a radial braced back
20” radiused fret board with a zero fret
Bolt on neck or the optional Spanish style
Carbon Fiber neck reinforcement
Kasha Bridge with through the bridge string attachment (string through bridge and top
and tied with a bead).
Bridge with optional split saddle to accommodate high and low G tuning
Small sound hole in the soundboard at one side of upper bout
Larger tuned sound port
bliss

Philip

The other "Top Secret" plan is a 3-string Mountain Dulcimer...

A Lattice braced, Nomex double-top, carbon fiber butress reinforced Adirondack and BRW Hourglass Mountain Dulcimer... with multi-scale Fan Frets and Fossile Walrus Oosic nut and bridge....

With a heart shape sound hole!

Thanks

John

Hi Lance

I would like the bracing templates for all plans including the 2 new ones. I'm in the middle of moving now though and won't be at the new address with internet till second week of December. Note this will be shipping to Canada.

Thanks

Not sure my computer took it as a 6 string lute :) I agree on the maple though but I think it was curly? Or maybe Moe

I'll take a set also (plans & templates, I assume). Whatever they are.
