I recently recieved my first Ameritage Silver Series Uke Case and am very impressed to say the least! The Silver Series is Ameritage's new line of cases that they claim have all of the features of the Gold Series minus the humidity control. The price was about half versus the Gold Series. The beautiful thing about the Silver Series cases is that Ameritage plans to stock them in select sizes for immediate delivery.

I am expecting 2 of the new UB Series black Uke Cases today from Ameritage which are even more affordable. The UB style case is what Ameritage supplies to Collings for their Ukes. I will post some comments once I have had a chance to look them over.

Thanks for posting this, Mike. Are you personally familiar with their Gold Series cases? If so, does this indeed appear to be the same case (minus the humidity control, and limited to gray exterior & black plush interior)? Does the exterior material appear to be the same - a woven polyester fabric? Did you get your logo on the case?

I haven't heard about the UB cases, and don't see anything about them on the Ameritage web site. What's the story with those?

Thanks again -

Mike, I'm with you on the Silver Series cases. I just purchased one for a guitar and I like it better than the Gold Series. One, I like the color scheme better; two, the clay humidifier is inadequate for the northeast heating season; and three, digital hygrometers are all pretty much useless and cannot be trusted. I'm now providing my customers with the Silver Series case and an Oasis case humidifier when I can. The Oasis are great because the customer can easily tell when it needs refilling. I just hope Ameritage expands the number of sizes available in the Silver Series.

Todd, I just saw your post. It appears to be the same fabric, I don't know about customization. I had one at the Woodstock show along with the Gold cases. They seem the same in all other respects.

The Silver Series Case is the same as the Gold Series less the Humidity Control. The color of the inside/outside is different but of the same materials.

I did not get my logo on this first case.

The UB Series cases are priced below the Silver and Gold series cases. They are simular in construction to the Taylor & Martin Factory cases. Excellent construction with arched top & great value, especially for Ukes. Made in Costa Rica.

Thanks, Randy and Mike. I'll get in touch with Nancy at Ameritage to get the rest of my questions answered.
