Hello All

I just wanted to take a moment and give a friendly reminder that speed isn't always a good thing. I'm in the process of regluing an end of the bridge of my 7th guitar (2 guitars ago). It looks as though the bass end did not have sufficient glue coverage on it to provide adequate adhesion...and a month and a half ago I noticed the back corner of the bass side had lifted off of the soundboard [headinwall] .

The end has been reglued, and is in clamps as we speak. But the fact remains that I was in too big of a hurry when I glued my bridge, and it has cost me more than I would like, as I now have to wait probably a week from now to take this guitar to the locally-owned store here in town to have it sold off, rather than get it on the shelves now.

Long story short, always check, double check, and triple check things before you cross that line of no return. It will save you time and stress in the future!

Take your time and keep a clean shop I might add. Most of the impatience I have is in the finish process. I just can't stand how long it takes and have paid the price for impatience many times.
