Ya, me know...maybe it don't look much to you guys but to me I see 4 instruments ~ all prebent and sculpted by mother nature herself. Apparently its about 20 years old and was in the back of the wood pile and they was gonna burn it. Ya right! Boy did the Padma luck out this time. Defiantly a couple of long neck Padmazookies for sure and a couple of mandos. Yay!

Plus two ~ one piece tops all ready carved from another round they had frowed shakes from about 8 years ago.

If you think me NO NOthing Build (http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=23656) is funkie, wait till you see what this stuff produces.

Blessings,
the
Padma

You're a visionary Padma. Can't wait to see what you're seeing in this humpy old log. Let's have some pictures when you get that far.

Padma, That looks great. I imagine that you drive the left brain luthiers crazy, but personally, I love it! Tony

Nice save!I hate seeing good instrument wood going up in smoke. Now that tree can express itself through sound for many more years to come. You just did her justice! [:Y:]
