I have a difficult time controlling humidity for my finished guitars and also just have them on stands in various rooms in the house so I'd like to build a display case for approximately 10 guitars to solve both problems. Does anyone have pictures of any cases so I can steal some ideas? Thanks..

I was just talking about the same thing with a friend. He found this site www.accessnsight.com which has some nice designs to look at.

Funny you should ask...I just built one.
After finishing my last two guitars, I was looking at with several hundred $ for cases. But also, more importantly, I'd developed a bad habit of finishing a guitar, packing it away in it's case & dust bag & moving on. I wasn't bringing them out, playing them in, learning the details of what made one better or worse than the next. Not the way to improve! I decided to try a display case for the den. (It's sometimes called the "Masterpiece Theater" room.) (It doesn't offend me.)
This is the result.It holds 6 of my guitars. (10's asking a lot, unless they're solid bodies.) The primary wood is sipo (a mahogany), with pine as secondary. Fabric interior (corduroy, on special locally). Underside top is spanish cedar (from my humidor days.....God, I'd love a cigar!) The carcase is basically glued (only) mortise & tenon joints (all done on a DP attachment, which I'm told is junk, but what do I know?). Glass is 4mm in the doors and 3mm for the side panels. The hangers, which cascade in 1/2" steps L to R, are mostly my 3/16" ss trussrod material with electronic shrinkwrap over. (The "pins" in the lower wenge blocks are inner-tube wrapped first.) They can be positioned and rotated to about 30deg.

Yeah when you're just building and not selling, case expense adds up, and I also find myself just playing the last build, the others are buried in cases.

It's funny I've skipped over this thread a couple of times, just wasn't interested. Now I need to figure where I can clear some floor space.

That case is gorgeous Dave, I want to build one some day.

I'm in the process of building a single wall case. I'll see how it goes and probably make a few more for my collection. I have NO LIVING FLOOR space for a multi case unit....but my closets are full of guitar and banjo cases.
The link listed has some nice cases.

"V" Angling 2 mirrors in the back of the wall case (with a little space on the sides and back) will make the guitar back much more viewable.

I can't yet post pictures here,but years ago I made a guitar case that holds 32 guitars. It is just barely able to clear the ceiling,and it has to be assembled in place. The guitars face frontwards on 2 levels,4 across on each level,and 4 deep. I put UV glass film on the glass,and carefully cleaned the glass first. The film was squeegeed on very carefully so no bubbles show at all. There is a small fluorescent light on each level,with UV tubes slid over each light.

I used metal corners inside the cabinet to be able to take the cabinet apart and move it from shop to home. With all the guitars in the case,you never notice the small metal corners inside. It's a good thing I did,as you would never get the cabinet through a doorway,nor would you be able to tip it up into position as it would jam against the ceiling. Plus,we moved about 5 years ago,and had to bring it here.

All the glass is plate glass. The wood is white oak.

Thanks Greg. I don't as yet...thought I'd watch it for a while. I could see some sort of passive inputs down the road (a container of desiccant and/or oversized humidor sponge type thing). It'll never have a forced air unit.
