I did have my bottle refridgerated for a year, and in 60 degree temp, I thought it last only 9 months? Is it a smell thing or should I do some kind of stress test?I would like to glue up a headstock veneer. No structural stuff. idunno

I have a bottle that was stored in my fridge unopened for two years. It seems fine - smells sweet and dries hard and clear, no chalkiness.
However, I don't trust it for guitar work. I'll use it for ordinary woodworking. I got a new bottle from LMI while at Healdsburg a few weeks ago....

Cheers,
Dave F.

My 2 year old LMI White still smells fine, and dries as hard as I might expect it to. No chalky feel. I don't use it for anything structural anyway, so I don't worry about it too much. I do have a new bottle, but now it's getting old. By the way, I didn't do anything to keep the glue in good condition. It stayed in my shop which ranged in temperature from the 60's to well into the 90's, though the humidity was controlled.
