... Joe has been sending me updates.

This is my first acoustic guitar.... ever, actually. (I have only owned/played electrics until now). It was a kit from CF Martin parts. I'm looking forward to doing a finish someday (probably french polish) but I was really pleased that Joe White could do this one. It brings it all together. The little flaws on it, will be overlooked, at first.

Nice photos. Your guitar looks very good!!! I may want to talk with Joe about finishing my first one also. How can I get in touch with him? Does he have a website?

Now, now... just because its brown and tapered, no need to go calling it a turd :)

The poly finish on the body was leveled and buffed today. All done and ready to be picked up. I'll have it back this Sunday. bliss

I visited Joe's shop on Sunday, and wow, wish I coulda stayed longer. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, I could just go on and on about what a joy it has been to have Joe finish my first guitar. He made several of what I thought were obvious flaws, simply disappear.

So after getting the guitar back, I sorta got ahead of myself and installed the hardware on the peghead, even though the neck joint isn't glued yet.

Hopefully I'll have it strung up soon.
