We have been diligently working on a new website. Well my son Pete has been doing the
majority of the work with me helping where I can. I built the current site using MS Frontpage.
Our ISP will no longer be supporting Front Page so we were forced into doing this now. Here is a sneak peak but the url is temporary while we work on it. http://www.zootman.net
The finished site will still be http://www.rctonewoods.com Eventually it will be database driven.
Have a look and let me know what you think. Keep in mind that many pages are incomplete or have no product.
Cheers
Bob Cefalu

I like it. I think the products section is nicer to navigate.

Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.Easier product navigation was one of Pete's primary goals and I think he accomplished that. Keep the comments coming. bliss

I like the look and feel and agree the navigation is better. I'm not at all fan of the rotating pics at the top. Its very distracting. Maybe have it pick a different one each time you load the page, or gently fade between pics at a much slower rate as well as a gradual fade between. But all in all, looks great. Cant wait. So...big new site sale???

I had more time so I went back and looked again and I have to agree with Zach. The pics at the top are worth looking at for sure but I find them very distracting. Maybe a different one on each page or a button so the user can turn off the slide show?

Bob It looks great, I personally would love it to be Centered. but thats just a design thingy, the layout looks great and feels good and easy to use. [:Y:] perhaps like Zack and Steve said have the images on the top fade in more instead of popping up like they do now.

I noticed the center thing as well. You may also want to look at the proportions of the title bar. It seems a little on the thick/tall side.

Hi Bob,

I think it looks good. My only comment would be with respect to font colors - I am not a big fan of bright colors for fonts. On many monitors, bright fonts - like the red on the main page - look very bright, and are actually hard to read. I would stay with muted font colors that contrast well with your background, but are not on the bright side (stay away from yellows, reds, bright greens, etc)

Just my 2 cents worth :-)

Glenn

Glad you like it. The red font is just temporary. There won't be any red on the finished site.

Great job Pete and Bob,
Navigation is a tough nut sometimes. It looks like you've cracked it!
Smooth as silkwood. [:Y:]
