We've discussed UV lights and heat lamps to speed nitro cure; however, I don't recall seeing straight forced air discussed to enhance solvent evaporation.

For those of you using forced air cabinets to speed nitrocellulose lacquer 'cure' to the point where the finish can be leveled and buffed, I'd like to see photos of your approach.

Not certain that forced air cuts all that much off the cure time, and I believe most of us would agree that patience is a virtue with lacquer; however, even a few days can help when getting a repair out to an anxious customer.

Thanks.

Have you ever seen the Taylor video where they placed a perfectly good guitar in a forced air box where the humidity is around 15% for about 3 days and seeing what happened to it?

Be careful with putting an acoustic guitar in a low humidity environment, you may do more harm than good.
