Hi all. OK finally did the last on my second. Well, need to screw on the tuners and get of some dirt from inside the box and some other tiny stuff. All in all she done. bliss .
I am really happy with this one, It´s built from scratch, and she´s of my own design, both inside and out, bridge, neck, contours etc. Well I ofcause had some fine inspirations from other builders haha. (lets call it modified design a´la Lars. This one also got a lattice bracing beneath the main x. The tap is great so we´ll see hops she sounds doon.
Were real nervous while building it haha. got some minor things to learn from to remember for my third :D . Cant wait to string her up and hear how she sounds. hehe.

Please do let me know what you think my friends and mentors of this beautiful art of luthery ! .

PS: I only have a phonecamera, will take some better ones soon :? .

Your buddy, Lars.

Great guitar Lars!.....and uniquely yours. [clap] [clap] [:Y:] Can't wait to hear it. What kind of wood did you use (especially what is the binding)?

I like it too Lars. I think it's very unique and I've not seen it that way before. Maybe Howard Klepper's artistic genius is beginning to wear off on you. ;) [:Y:]

looks good lars. you are definitely pumping them out at a faster rate than i am. as for the design, i believe queen said it best with, "fat bottom girls you make the rockin' world go round!" whats the span of that lower bout? definitely let us know how it sounds.

on a side note, i always thought i would finish number one before i reached koa! oh well. give me another month or two.

Very, very nice, Lars! The mitred purfs certainly are evidence of your chops and attention to detail. You have come a long way in a short period of time and you should be very proud of your work.

What's next?

Lars,

What beautiful, fine work. I'm extremely impressed - I'm on guitar #5 - still trying to get to a level of fit and finish that approaches yours.

Lars,
That is so nice. Very good looking. You have a good eye for design and wood choices.

Awesome Lars!!! I love your adventurous spirit. Definately going where no Swede has gone before! Really, it's a great guitar. The body shape is unique and wonderful, all the appointments are very original and creative. Way to go!! bliss [clap] [clap] [clap]

Really nice Lars!!!
Your detailing and finish are what we're used to seeing here on the forum, which is no small feat at all. But I particularly like your overall design and body shape! That body shape and bridge mark it as a Lars original!

Group Hug !! :D :D . Thank you all soo much for the positive feedback. Right now I am putting on the strings on the Gotoh 510 tuners , yummy [:Y:] . and going through the Kent everett video of adjustments. so hopefully this one will be killer. Will let you all know as soon as I am done with the intonations etc tonight. , again, Thank you all soo much.

Many pointed out on my first, "isn´t it a great feeling stringing up the first" well I am not happy with my first, this one I am more than happy with so I barely cant wait to get it to sound good.
I will try and post some photos as its stringed up. I can hardly believe that I BUILT THIS !! . early christmas indeed. haha

all your friend, Lars.

OK got the tuners on, and intonation is 95% great, need practice on this ! Nut, saddle etc.
the sound this guitar is making is absolutely amazing. really balanced and warm, tho soundhole is a tiny bit larger than the normal 4" but I feel it was a good thing I did this as the box id real deep, so it compensated the bass . personally I am thrilled about this guitar. cant wait to have it sat it for a few weeks.

Here is a shot now as its 99.999% done. need to fix some with the nut ! :D

Lars.
